Our week long visit November, 2016. I can’t say enough about this wonderful campground! If you’re looking for peace and serenity, this is the place!
We chose site 109 in the lower loop after moving three time in the upper loop. The upper is wooded and hilly, very beautiful, but we just didn’t like the sites. The lower loop is wide open, with beautiful scenery!
This was our original reservation in the upper loop. We moved on the second day. I’m glad we brought the scooter on this trip! Lots of winding roads and paths to ride around!
This is the view from the site across from us. All of the lakeside sites have decks and some have fishing piers.
All of the lower loop sites are pull throughs with full hook ups, and can handle ANY sized rig. You drive up to the site on the grass and leave the same way.
With a 640-acre lake LBC offers a variety of outdoor activities. Activities include camping, fishing, swimming, walking, bike riding, kayaking, picnicking and zip-line. There’s an 18 hole disc golf course, golf cart rentals, john boat and pontoon boat rentals.
Yet another of our now favorite places to camp!
