First impression was wonderful! Like checking into a 5-star hotel!

Put your wallet away here, as with most resort sites, all you need is your wristband. A golf cart guides you to your site. The staff here is absolutely the best! The owner prowls the property and mingles with the guests. The site is completely level, making setup a breeze. The only problem I have with level sites is when it rains, the water tends to pool. It didn’t rain here, so I can’t say…

Between New Orleans and Baton Rouge
Between New Orleans and Baton Rouge

Located about 75 minutes from New Orleans and 50 minutes from Baton Rouge, just off I-12. Very easy in and out for any rig. A few good restaurants are just a short Uber away, not much else.

The Urban Jungle
The Urban Jungle

Yes, it’s a concrete jungle like most resorts, but the spaces are wide, and you’ll find yourself spending most of your time here using the facilities anyway!

Nice playground and tree house for the kids!
Nice playground and tree house for the kids!

Plenty to do here: Kayaking, stand up paddle boards, fishing, gym, adult and children’s pools, two bars, outdoor amphitheater, poolside cabanas and more. And they’re Snowbird friendly at only $495/mo! Probably the cheapest I have ever seen for a resort!

If you’re traveling I-10 east or west on your journey, you’ll be taking the I-10 bypass on I-12 to avoid New Orleans traffic. This is one terrific place to put on your map!
