This is a very nice, but poorly maintained state park…
Most people give this park good reviews, and so do I. There are just some things I wish got more/better attention. But I really couldn’t complain at all, it was a very nice, peaceful stay. Lots of nice roads and trails to walk or ride, and plenty of space in the spots.
100 RV campsites, 27 cabins, 4 cottages, 2 golf villas, 9 motel rooms, and a group camp facility. These facilities are located in wooded areas with views of Lake Tangipahoa.
Well worth the visit!
